1. Introduction
Welcome to Whitehill Trails. By booking or participating in any trek, experience, or activity organized by us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure a transparent, safe, and respectful experience for both travelers and our team.
2. Bookings & Payments
- A booking is confirmed only after receiving the required advance payment.
- The remaining balance (if any) must be paid before the trek starts.
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from our team.
- Payments must be made securely through our official website or verified payment gateways.
3. Inclusions & Exclusions
Each trek or experience includes specific services such as meals, accommodation, guides, and permits. Transportation to the base location, personal gear, and extra services are not included unless clearly mentioned in your itinerary.
4. Participant Responsibility
- Participants must be physically fit and disclose any health conditions before joining a trek.
- Instructions from trek leaders and guides must be followed at all times for group safety.
- Any damage to equipment, environment, or local property will be the participant’s responsibility.
5. Safety & Itinerary Flexibility
Mountain weather and terrain are unpredictable. Whitehill Trails reserves the right to modify the itinerary, campsite, or schedule in the interest of safety, environmental conditions, or logistics. Refunds are not applicable for minor changes or route adjustments.
6. Cancellation by Participant
Cancellations by participants will be governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Please review it for detailed terms and timelines.
7. Cancellation by Whitehill Trails
In rare cases, we may cancel or postpone a trek due to weather, permits, safety, or minimum group size not being met. In such cases, you can choose between:
- A full refund of your trek fee
- Transfer to another trek or date of equal value
8. Liability & Risk
Trekking involves inherent risks such as weather changes, altitude, or terrain challenges. While we take every precaution, Whitehill Trails is not liable for injuries, illness, loss, or damages beyond our control. Every participant must sign a Risk Waiver & Fitness Declaration before starting the trek.
9. Use of Images
Unless specified otherwise, Whitehill Trails may use photographs or videos taken during treks for promotional purposes. Participants can request removal of their images from digital platforms at any time.
10. Jurisdiction
All legal matters or disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
